Welcome to Our Blog! It is our Three Year Anniversary

We’re celebrating a big milestone – it has been three years since our practice opened its doors! What started as just an idea to provide psychological services that focus on client wellbeing, has now become a reality and we are so proud of our accomplishments. We have seen countless smiles, heard incredible stories of personal growth, and experienced the joys of working with individual clients that bring us closer to making our goal come true: creating successful therapeutic relationships filled with hope and potential. So let's take this occasion to reflect on what brought us here today – you! Our clients have helped shape every step along the journey, providing support through feedback, ideas for future direction, and community engagement. Without your involvement in our practice we would not be where we are today; thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being such an amazing part of this experience. In celebration of all things achieved over these last 3 years, join us as we explore different types of therapies available in psychology, learn more about how minds work together (and apart!) and give insight into how challenges can be managed effectively.


Introducing Our 3 Year Anniversary - Celebrating our journey together!


These past few years have come with a lot of unexpected changes - from the ever-rising cost of living to navigating new technology, as well as surviving a pandemic. Through all these twists and turns, we have seen each other's resilience shine; and together, many have found new opportunities in lifestyle choices, career development, relationship building, emotional wellness – the list goes on! So let's celebrate our 3rd anniversary with gratitude for how far we have come and excitement for what else lies ahead.


Reflections on the Growth We've Experienced During the Last Three Years


Over the past three years, our practice has grown tremendously. Illuminated Thinking started as a solo clinical psychology practice, founded by one determined and passionate professional. But over time, the practice grew to become an established business with six psychologists and other professionals providing cutting-edge, evidence-based client care. With each addition to the team, Illuminated Thinking has been able to provide better services to its clients, deepening their therapeutic relationship while also expanding their knowledge and offerings. As a result of this growth, Illuminated Thinking has become a thriving business that is well-regarded in the community for its professionalism and commitment to helping people live their best lives.


We've had the pleasure of introducing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) to countless number of lives. Seeing our clients transform and make incredible strides in their healing journeys has been our absolute privilege. Every day we witness the power that psychotherapy can have in helping people not only learn how to manage life's challenges but to grow and thrive in ways they could never imagine possible before. It's an honour to be on this journey with our clients as they work towards finding strength and resilience for their future.

We have all faced challenges in our lives, and sometimes they can seem daunting. But it is also an opportunity to grow; we become stronger and more resilient when things don't go as planned. It's important to have the flexibility to adapt to different situations; this allows us to thrive, even during difficult times.
