DR CAOIMHE CLARKE

HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist

We all experience difficulties with our mental health at points in our lives. However, sometimes these difficulties can have a profound impact on our life and the way we live. As a Clinical Psychologist, I aim to work alongside you to facilitate a deeper understanding of your mental health difficulties and the impact these have on your life. My goal is to assist you to develop the skills you need to be able to manage these difficulties, in a healthy and productive way, so that you can focus on what’s important to you.

I work with individuals who are experiencing a range of psychological difficulties, such as: anxiety disorders (e.g. phobias, panic, health anxiety, performance/social anxiety, OCD), disordered eating, interpersonal difficulties, trauma related difficulties (including PTSD) and low mood/depression.

I draw on a wide-range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to create specific interventions tailored to your individual needs, including but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy(CFT) and Schema informed CBT. I have also undertaken advanced training in CBT for disordered eating and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

I also have a specialist interest in Coaching and Performance Psychology. I have completed an MSc in Coaching Psychology through the University of East London where I received specialist training in Executive Coaching. I use these skills to help individuals meet their performance based goals in work, sport or personal lives.

In addition to private work, I am currently a Principal Clinical Psychologist in the NHS where I work with adults experiencing a range of mental health difficulties.

My fee is £120 per session.

I accept referrals from all major medical insurance providers.
